We're looking for an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team at Ryegate Children's Centre, supporting children with neurodevelopmental and neurodisability needs. You'll provide direct psychological input to families and offer consultation to professional colleagues.

About You

You'll be HCPC-registered with doctoral-level training in clinical psychology and specialist experience in neurodisability. Experienced in psychological assessment and therapy, you'll be passionate about improving outcomes for children and committed to ongoing development.

Main duties of the job

Reporting into the Lead Consultant Clinical Psychologist in Paediatrics, Neurology and Neurodisability, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct autism assessments for children and young people, including diagnostic interviews and cognitive testing
  • Provide psychological input within a multidisciplinary neurodisability team
  • Deliver direct care, consultation, and supervision across local, regional, and national services
  • Prepare high-quality clinical reports and communicate effectively with families and professionals
  • Adhere to Trust policies on confidentiality, safeguarding, health and safety, and equal opportunities
