This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated pharmacist to join the pharmacy team at Lorn & Islands Hospital. This post will require an enthusiastic, forward thinking individual with excellent communication and time management skills to ensure the provision of an effective, safe and patient centred approach to delivering pharmaceutical care. The successful candidate will have experience in a number of clinical areas including surgical, medical, HDU and, ideally, Oncology & Haematology. The ability to work effectively as part of the multidisciplinary team is essential.
A post graduate qualification or experience at Clinical Diploma or Masters level and independent prescribing qualification is expected, plus at least 5 years relevant experience.
This post provides an excellent opportunity to further develop leadership skills within a supportive environment and to contribute to multi-disciplinary improvement work around the cost effective and safe use of medicines.
