We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join the Obstetrics and Gynaecology team at the West Middlesex Site of Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. We wish to appoint a suitably trained and experienced doctor with NHS experience at ST3 -7 level as a Senior Clinical Fellow to work as a Senior Registrar with a special interest in any of the following: Benign abdominal surgery - Open and Laparoscopic, Maternal Medicine and Obstetric Research, Medical Education with Quality Improvement in Postnatal and Bereavement Care, Outpatient Hysteroscopy and Ambulatory Gynaecology.
The successful candidate will carry out clinical duties within all areas of the obstetrics and gynaecology department and will also be expected to contribute to the SpR on call Rota. They will be provided with an Educational Supervisor.
Applicants are invited to apply as soon as possible with a proposed start date in early 2026. The successful candidate should be registered with the GMC and should have relevant NHS experience to work at the level of ST3 -7 within a busy Obstetrics and Gynaecology unit.

The successful candidate will carry out clinical duties within all areas of the obstetrics and gynaecology department.
The appointee will also be expected to see patients under consultant supervision in the outpatient clinics including the one-stop scan clinics, specialist gynaecology clinics and the early pregnancy/acute gynaecology unit. There will also be opportunities to complete the intermediate gynaecology ultrasound scanning and hysteroscopy modules. Partake in elective obstetric procedures and general gynaecological surgery including the day case and inpatient elective surgery.
It is expected that the successful candidate will undertake clinical audits and undertake quality improvement projects (QIP) under consultant supervision. The Chelsea Centre for Minimally Invasive Gynaecology is based in the department offering global training and tuition in endoscopic surgery, and successful candidates can join our courses, training and innovative programmes.
When on call the post holder will be on the three-tier rota covering obstetrics and gynaecology in a 1:8 on out of hours call frequency as the Senior Registrar. A Specialty Trainee ST3-5 and Speciality Trainee ST2-5 also cover out of hours alongside the Senior Registrar.
