Senior Clinical Fellow in Respiratory

Job overview

We are seeking a Clinical Fellow to work at the Lane Fox Respiratory Service., to start as soon as possible  The post is based at St Thomas’ Hospital with some time at the Lane Fox Remeo Centre in Redhill, Surrey. Remeo is the satellite unit for the Lane Fox Respiratory Service, with a focus on medium-term rehabilitation and respiratory weaning.

This post is to provide cover for the Lane Fox Respiratory Service.  The post-holder will hone clinical skills in a complex patient group, with a focus on respiratory failure, weaning and long-term ventilator support.

There is daily Consultant presence and training opportunities at both sites.

This post may close early if a sufficient number of applications have been received.

Main duties of the job

To assist with the coordination of admission and discharge of patients from the unit.  Responsible for maintaining accurate notes.

The post-holder will work with Consultants, Senior nurses, and Senior Therapists (Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Dietician) to deliver a high standard of clinical care to the patients.
