Main duties of the job
The Fellowship will require the appointee to demonstrate core skills. The post is based on a curriculum in Paediatric ENT surgery developing a skill set suitable for a Consultant with Specialist Interest in Children’s ENT.
In order to be considered applicants must meet the following essential criteria:
- FRCS or equivalent qualification
- Eligibility for entry onto Specialist Register within 6 months of CCT at time of interview
Please note that this post is now achieved recognition for training.
Full Registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council at time of appointment is required.
Detailed job description and main responsibilities
The main objective of this fellowship is to develop the skills of the Fellow to a level that will enable independent practice within a multidisciplinary team within paediatric ENT.
To develop knowledge, leadership qualities, attitudes and communication skills that will enable the Fellow to develop after their consultant appointment.
Particular emphasis will be placed on leading the MDT, coordinating and managing a busy unit.Please refer to the Job description and Person specification attached for further details on the main responsibilities and duties for this post.
