The Department of Urology at University College Hospital is looking to recruit a highly motivated and dedicated Clinical Fellow to work across the highly specialised Urology department based at Westmoreland Street Hospital.

The appointee will be joining the focal therapy team in the largest urological department in the country, and will be part of a fantastic MDT team of approx. 30 consultants, over 20 registrars, other junior doctors, and nursing staff.

  • The Senior Clinical Fellow will assist focal therapy lists (focal HIFU, cryotherapy, nanoknife) and will have training opportunities as 3 focal therapy lists run per week
  • The Fellow will have to lead theatre lists independently, especially for transperineal targeted prostate biopsy.
  • There are regular clinics at which the Fellow will have the opportunity to see new patients as well as patients under follow up, often under supervision of a consultant.
  • The Fellow will have joint responsibility in organizing, presenting and implementing outcomes from the focal prostate team multi-disciplinary meeting in association with uro-radiology and histopathology.
