Join our expanding Lucy Project team delivering high-quality, low-intensity psychological therapies through video-based CBT to children and young people (CYP) experiencing low to moderate emotional and mental health difficulties linked to physical health.

About You:

  • Postgraduate qualification as a Children's Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP).
  • Registered with BABCP
  • CWP Supervisor qualification (PGCert) or equivalent experience
  • Experience of applying and adapting low-intensity CBT to young people experiencing chronic health conditions
  • Experience of managing own caseload alongside supervision and line management as appropriate

Main duties of the job

Reporting to the Principal Clinical Psychologist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver psychological interventions, including CBT and self-help techniques.
  • Provide support to families to ensure participation in treatment and involvement in the therapeutic process.
  • Collaborate with community and external services to ensure holistic support for CYP and their families.
  • Supervise and provide training to junior team members, promoting a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Work with senior clinical and managerial teams to contribute to the development and expansion of early intervention services.

Please note that Sheffield Children's uplift pay to meet the Real Living Wage, which is £12.60 per hour.
