We are looking for a motivated individual who is keen to work as part of our acute inpatient therapy team , covering acute medical and surgical wards and our 12 bedded critical care unit.

We are looking for an experienced physiotherapist  with acute medical/surgical or critical care skills and experience. The role will be based at Salisbury hospital assessing and managing a varied clinical caseload and will include supervision of rotational physiotherapists and/or therapy assistant staff.

Professional and specialist supervision is available from senior members of staff, and successful candidates will be work closely with the wider MDT.

Main duties of the job

Our ideal candidate will be confident with appropriate experience, clearly able to demonstrate a desire to actively participate in all aspects of the role. They must be willing and able to lead on various elements of the work in this exciting and demanding acute area of physiotherapy. The successful candidate must be an effective team player with excellent communication and organisational skills. They will be able to demonstrate clear clinical reasoning and have the ability to explain their decisions and actions in a way that all concerned will be able to understand. They must also be able to demonstrate evidence of recent learning and examples of continued professional and clinical development.
