Principal Cardiac Clinical Physiologist
To support the Principal Cardiac Physiologist in providing a patient centred, high quality, safe and efficient Cardiac Investigations service which adheres to the values of the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust. The post holder will develop and broaden their clinical skills through training and experience, as dictated by the needs of the service.
Operational Delivery
To perform Adult and Paediatric Resting Electrocardiography
To perform Ambulatory ECG, B.P. and Event Monitoring
Assist in Exercise Electrocardiography
Assist in echocardiography, DSE and TOE as required
To participate in the department duty rota including weekend, evening and bank holiday cover as required.
To demonstrate commitment through efficient completion of duties, participation in teamwork activities and through regular attendance.
2.Information Management
To utilise Encompass, the Trusts/departments patient information system effectively and efficiently
To report all faults to the Clinical Physiologist in charge.
3.Key working Relationships
To communicate effectively with other team members to ensure an efficient service.
To liaise effectively with other Health Care Professionals
To supervise student Clinical Physiologists and other Health Care Professionals.
To maintain good communication with patients and relatives/carers ensuring individual needs are met and addressing any issues which have been identified.
To set a good example for students and those less experienced, helping them to develop into professional, skilled and considerate cardiac physiologists
