The East of England Ambulance Trust is looking for a system Resuscitation Officer to join us in an emergent role within the Education Department of the Clinical Directorate. This is an exciting time to join the Trust, as we are now moving towards a holistic education and clinical development methodology for our existing staff and future workforce. Please note, this is a single 6-month secondment position for the Mid & South Essex system (with potential to extend).

Main duties of the job

We are looking for an experienced clinician, leader and educator who is passionate about improving our service and processes – both capability and quality. The successful candidate will hold expertise related to peri-arrest, resuscitation and life support across all age groups and be responsible for leading operational-level delivery of related activities and metrics. This includes ensuring all staff receive an annual resuscitation update at basic, intermediate, and advanced life support, including trauma life support approaches, as well as facilitating assessment, staff support, coaching and clinical debriefing following out of hospital cardiac arrests.
