The Volunteer will support the Immunisation Team out in the community, in schools, while the team are delivering the school age vaccinations relevant to the year group. This includes Flu for all schools; Diphtheria, Tetanus and Polio(DTP) for Year 9 students in all schools and Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) vaccine programmes to Year 8 students.
The role of the volunteer is to support the nursing team to deliver the programmes whilst managing the flow of young people in and out of the room. It also involves communication with school and the Immunisation lead nurse to help ensure the session runs smoothly and efficiently. The role varies slightly from school to school.

Please kindly note, you will be given a 20-minute assessment on the week commencing either the 26th January 2026 or 2nd February 2026 at Kingston Hospital.
The Mandatory training for this role will be on Tuesday 10th March 2026.
