As a general Porter/Security you will be required to undertake portering duties on a day-to-day basis to ensure an efficient, effective and safe service to wards and departments/patients and to deliver the highest standard of Service (Portering) within the NTC site.
You must have the ability to work as part of a team or on your own initiative, follow instructions and possess good communication skills
You must also be able to respond constructively to unpredictable situations and able to cope under pressure
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
A driving licence is essential for this post as you will be expected to drive a van up to 3.5 tonnes and the small catering and portering vans/cars.
The shifts for this post are Saturday & Sunday 0800-1400
