- The post holder will be an experienced registered midwife with the ability to practise autonomously when providing care to women/birthing people during the antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal period and will be the coordinating care provider for women, birthing people and their families
- You will work as a member of the team providing maternity care to women/birthing people within the hospital and community
- The post holder will deputise on the ward or department in the absence of the senior midwife
- In the community setting you will take responsibility for coordinating the care pathways and participate in the on call service to provide a homebirth service

Main duties of the job
- Provide safe and effective care to pregnant women/pregnant people during the antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum period
- Work in partnership with women/birthing people and their families
- Work collaboratively as a member of the Multidisciplinary team
