We have an exciting opportunity for flexible, enthusiastic and committed pharmacists to join our Clinical Team. This post is open to trainee pharmacists due to join the register following 2024 summer exam or qualified pharmacists looking to move Trusts or sectors.
We are very proud of our comprehensive ‘Step-Up’ programme for junior pharmacists, and it produces excellent Advanced Specialist Pharmacists. All in all, the rotational ‘Step UP’ Programme at University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust provides a firm launch pad from which you can start and progress your pharmacy career.
The programme allows you to progress, after successful completion of agreed objectives, through the ‘Steps’ from Step1 (newly qualified Band 6) to Step 3 (Band 7) seamlessly utilising a personalised portfolio and the Newly Qualified Pharmacist Pathway.

You will enjoy 27 days paid holiday plus 8 Bank Holidays rising to 33 days paid holiday plus 8 Bank Holidays following 10 years service.
There is an on-call requirement (remunerated per session) which requires you to be within 30 minutes of the hospital. We also operate a backup on-call service to provide you with support should you need it, in addition to being able to contact our specialist pharmacists should the need arise. There is a requirement for weekend and Bank Holiday working.
