In accordance with the current Trust objectives, the post holder will be responsible for ensuring that medicines reconciliations, on the assigned wards, are completed as soon as possible after admission. They will also be responsible for ensuring discharge prescriptions are dealt with quickly and efficiently, responding to medicines information queries and conducting audits
The clinical pharmacist will rotate through a number of specialities every six months. These specialities will include medicine, stroke , trauma and orthopaedics, women and children, surgery, community and out patients.
As a clinical pharmacist working on the wards, you will demonstrate the ability to provide safe, clinically effective and cost efficient use of medicines to in patients.

If successful this vacancy will require an enhanced DBS check at a cost of £54.90. This cost will be deducted from your first Trust salary
In addition to this it will be a condition of your employment that you will join the DBS update service and pay the annual subscription fee of £16.
