We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to support the efficient management and development of medical revalidation, appraisal and job planning processes within the Trust. The role will work closely with the Trust's Responsible Officer and Medical Appraisal Lead to ensure all processes are effectively managed, and to provide a seamless service to doctors at the Trust.
Hours per week: 37.5 (2 remote days per week (if desired).
Responsible to the Medical Workforce Manager and accountable to the Responsible Officer for revalidation and appraisal, the post holder will be responsible for the efficient and comprehensive management and development of Revalidation and Appraisal processes within the Trust, which will subsequently, assure the Trust Board of Directors of the safety and effectiveness of medical professionals. Ensuring timely and accurate information is provided to the Trust Revalidation Responsible Officer.
The post will also play a key role in medical job planning, supporting the Medical Workforce Manager to implement the job planning policy and procedures across the Trust.
The post holder will be expected to exercise considerable initiative and independent judgement with minimum supervision, ensuring that they exercise a high degree of tact, diplomacy and confidentiality at all times.
