This is your opportunity to return to a profession that changes lives every day. Great Western Hospitals (GWH) is proud to support five Return to Practice (RTP) nurses through our chosen education provider, UWE Bristol. This programme is designed to help you re‑enter nursing with renewed skills, confidence, and professional support.

Come along and see us on 28 February 2026 at the RTP Stand during the Swindon Community Careers Fair, held in the Academy on the Lower Ground Floor of Great Western Hospital, SN3 6BB, from 10:00 to 14:00.

Whether you stepped away for family, health, or a career change, this is your chance to refresh your knowledge, rebuild your clinical competence, and re‑join the NMC register.

What We Offer

You will join GWH under an honorary contract for the duration of the programme. While a post is not guaranteed on completion, we are committed to supporting successful RTP graduates through our recruitment process, subject to vacancies at the time.

This accredited 20‑credit Level 6 module is open to nurses from all fields who are ready to return to a career that truly makes a difference
