An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time Band 3 Respiratory Virtual Administrator and Administrator lead to join our team in Southeast Hampshire. Based at Fort Southwick. The successful candidate will work within an established team.
Experience in RiO or SystmOne, Southern Health's IT systems would be an advantage, but not essential as training can be given. The successful candidate will work with some autonomy but primarily will be supporting the nurses to deliver care to patients with Respiratory conditions. You would be expected to take calls from these patients, their families and health care professional and deal with these is a professional manner.

*To provide administration and secretarial support to Specialist Nursing Services (Respiratory) for the care in the community.
*To arrange and coordinate oxygen clinic appointments for Specialist Nurses. To including booking rooms, sending out new and follow up appointments.
*To support the virtual ward and the development of this service. Liaise with Solent and PHU colleagues to support the admission, VW MDT and ongoing development of this innovation.
*To support the MDT with SCAS
*To be the main point of contact and liaison. Telephone calls and emails will be received each day from patients, GPs, practice staff, community health professional and single point of access. You will need to respond with information and assistance regarding the Specialist Nurse's availability and arranging for any visits to be made if required. Offering to call back with further information once contact made with Specialist Nurse as appropriate. Keep accurate records of contacts and referrals made.
*To maintain administration/secretarial procedures and systems to include IT/electronic date.
*To update existing procedures/systems as necessary. This will involve the regular receipt of data, its entry into the database and production of reports on a regular basis. You will also provide secretarial support to the Specialist Nurses.
