An exciting opportunity has arisen for a caring, passionate and motivated Band 5 Registered Nurse to join the newly formed team on Ward 312 at the Royal Derby Hospital.

Ward 312 is a 25 bedded General Medicine ward which has only recently been made into a permanent ward.  We are looking to recruit experienced Band 5 Registered Nurses to join our friendly team and have a chance at making a difference to the delivery and care of our patients.   Applicants will need to be dynamic, enthusiastic, reliable and flexible.  Excellent communication and organisational skills are key, as is a commitment to delivering quality care to our patients.

Main duties of the job

Ward 312 is a General Medical ward, so offers lots of opportunities to care for patients with all different medical conditions,  improving your knowledge and skills.

The function of the ward is to assess, investigate, treat and discharge or transfer patients to the most appropriate setting following their acute episode of care.

We admit patients from the Emergency Department and the Medical Assessment Unit.

There is an enthusiastic multi professional team providing a high standard of care to our patients.

You must be a  Registered General Nurse preferably with previous experience as a Staff Nurse in an acute setting.

We need someone who wishes to make an impact and be part of our innovative service providing frontline care.
