We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join the dedicated and friendly team of nurses for Outpatients Department at Lister Hospital.

The department is a busy and diverse area with specialties including, ENT, General Surgery, Gastroenterology, Respiratory, Heamatology, Cardiology, Diabetes and Endocrine, Rheumatology, Vascular, Neurology and Urology. Main duties of the job

The Registered Nurse post is a vital and valued role to support in providing high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patient/clients and their families/carers.

Based on a ward or unit setting they work closely with the department / ward manager and multi-disciplinary team members in monitoring and maintaining policies, standards of nursing care, staff and service development within the ward or unit setting.

Assess, plan, implement and evaluate the care needs of patients attending the Outpatients Department, with the involvement of patients and their relatives/carers.

To ensure a high standard of nursing care is performed at all times and assists in the review and regular update of these standards in accordance with the NMC code of professional conduct and trust polices.
