An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2  Band 5 Registered Nurses with relevant post registration experience to join our team on the Cardiac Care Unit at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary on temporary posts to cover maternity leave for 9 months.

The Cardiac Care Unit cares for patients with a variety of Acute Cardiac conditions, including provision of Non-invasive ventilation such as CPAP and  High Flow Nasal  oxygen.

The unit has the ability to perform procedures such as insertion of temporary pacing wires, trans-oesophageal echoes, pericardiocentesis and cardioversions.
