An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, well organised and enthusiastic individual to join the administration team within Critical Care  on  the Neuro Critical Care Unit (NCCU)

You will work opposite days to the current Receptionist/Administrator, between you, you will cover NCCU Reception 7 days a week

Your specific working days  are  stated on the Job Description / Person Specification

You must be able to work both independently and within a team. You will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritise your workload and work well under pressure.

You must be able to work proactively on your own initiative within a busy environment. You should have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to liaise with multi disciplinary teams.

Main duties of the job

To deliver and maintain a professional Clerical and Reception Service to the Neuro Critical Care Unit (NCCU) and all its users, patients, relatives and colleagues.

To assist in the day-to-day organisation and work of the Unit.

Liaising with Wards and Departments, to ensure the smooth operation of the Unit and Clinical environment, which may be in any area of the Critical Care Division, as directed, according to the needs of the Service.

Due to Home Office immigration rules, a full time permanent vacancy cannot be filled by individuals on a Student visa. Therefore, please be advised that if you are a Student visa holder, we will not be able to offer you a full time permanent contract unless you have:

-        applied for a Graduate visa

-        or you will have successfully completed your course and have applied for a Graduate visa before the anticipated start date of your employment

-        or the Trust has agreed that they will Sponsor you as a Skilled Worker and you will complete your studies within 3 months of the anticipated start date of employment
