Job summary

Main duties of the job

As part of our team, you will undertake a full range of reception, clerical and administrative responsibilities. You will provide an efficient, welcoming and helpful reception service and will ensure that patient confidentiality is observed at all times. You will be expected to demonstrate an efficient and pleasant telephone manner when dealing with patients, staff and clinician enquiries and will take accurate details and record information within the patient record on the Electronic Patient Record. You will take responsibility for dealing with incoming and outgoing post. Good communication skills are essential as you will need to liaise directly with patients, clinicians and other staff.
