Applications are invited for the post of Clerical Officer/Receptionist within Women, Children & Families at Ninewells Hospital. This post is based in Early Pregnancy Clinic (EPAC). Your duties will include screening all incoming telephone calls to EPAC, administering the appointment system, recording episodes of care on the maternity system and locating patient records.
You should have good IT skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively
with a range of people including patients, clinicians and other departments. Training will be provided. A knowledge of NHS administration systems would be advantageous.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
