SET CAMHS in Mid Essex are looking to recruit a Band 2 Receptionist/administrator to be based at Stapleford House, Chelmsford.
You should have well-developed communication and customer service skills and be able to provide an initial response to patients their parents/carers who arrive at reception for appointments. You should be able to provide a clear and effective service to all customers accessing reception as well as telephone interpersonal skills. You will be required to signpost, take messages and support the administrative team with appropriate tasks such as scanning, saving information to patient records and room bookings.
We ask that you can prioritise your workload, be a team player, and able to use your own initiative and meet deadlines.
The role requires someone who is able to work on a busy reception, with the ability to stay calm and be able to multi-task.
The post holder will have previous experience of working in the provision of excellent customer care including the maintenance of records with experience of working in an NHS environment desirable.
Duties of the job:
First point of contact for patients, staff and contractors who access the building.
Answer incoming calls within an accepted time frame
Liaise with the Clinical team to book follow up appointments and send out appointment letters as required
To arrange appointments for initial appointments and delegated administrative tasks
