The post is ideal for a suitably experienced professional to extend their skills and experience whilst working in a truly team-based environment. We are a large department consisting of Interventional Radiographers, Nurses, Support staff and Radiologists. We also are part of the registrar teaching programme and have radiographers who have been trained to scrub as part of IR procedures.

The purpose-built hybrid theatres complex has opened containing 3 theatres of which 2 are Vascular hybrids containing Siemens Artis Phenos. Staff must be willing to partake in shift week rotations alongside the On Call Rota to facilitate the OOH working required for Interventional Radiology and Vascular Theatres.

Outside of radiology we also support the Cardiac Cath Lab, which is a single plane lab which undertakes Permanent Pacemaker implantations and Diagnostic coronary angiograms.

Applicants must be willing to train and work in all areas of IR, Hybrid, Cath Lab and General Radiography. There is a need to work shifts and partake in an On Call Rota.
