Job summary

Main duties of the job

To work with the Practice Supervisor in order to develop expert skills and knowledge around Clinical Practice, Community Engagement , Clinical Practice Development, and Leadership in order to:

  • Provide a consistent, effective, accessible and appropriate 0-19 Service for children, young people and their families
  • Work in partnership with agencies and families
  • Signpost to partner agencies where assessed as required
  • Be responsible for the delivery of public health, universal and targeted interventions across the 0-19 years age range.
  • Work proactively using a partnership approach to promote health and contribute to tackling health inequalities within the level of competencies required for the post.
  • Work with children, young people and families within the home environment, school or other identified community settings.

This is a development post, building upon existing knowledge, skills and competencies to achieve a higher level of practice resulting in an academic qualification with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
