Job summary

Main duties of the job

The post holders will support the provision of Clinical Psychology services within the community neurorehabilitation services provided by North Cheshire and Mersey NHS Foundation Trust. The main duties of the role will be to contribute to the implementation of neuropsychological assessment and delivery of evidence based psychological therapy. You will also contribute to the provision of training the multidisciplinary team with regard to patients' psychological and neuropsychological wellbeing in order to support a stepped care model. You will support audit activities including gathering outcome information, supporting service evaluation and preparing related reports. You will support service related research as appropriate. The service will be run in line with relevant national guidelines, and you will be encouraged to engage with appropriate CPD plus mandatory training to ensure best practice. You must have a BPS accredited Psychology Degree Upper Second Class or above. You must have experience of working in a health and social care role, ideally with people with neurological conditions. You must have excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with a range of professionals, patients, and families.
