We are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Psychologist to join our Pain Management team in Northeast Essex.
The successful candidate will not only be responsible for managing a complex clinical caseload but will also help guide the direction of patient care, oversee service delivery, and ensure the highest standards of practice, as part of a multidisciplinary team, committed to providing exceptional patient-centred care.
Main duties of the job
- Clinical Leadership: Providing oversight and direction for the pain management service. Ensure the delivery of evidence-based, high-quality care to individuals with chronic pain conditions.
- Caseload Management: Manage a complex and varied caseload, working autonomously and making decisions with the support of the multidisciplinary team
- Service Delivery & Development: Actively contribute to service development, and ensure the team adheres to best practices while promoting innovation and integrated care.
- Educational Leadership: Facilitate educational sessions and lead group programs, empowering patients to effectively manage their pain.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with system partners to ensure a seamless, integrated service that prioritizes the self-management of chronic pain conditions.
- Line Management: Provide support and guidance to team members, with some line management responsibilities.
- Autonomous Practice: Work independently while contributing to the ongoing improvement and success of the service.
