Interested in taking on a high profile role that will drive improved outcomes and make a difference to the delivery of patient care across Scotland? Have a passion for supporting and delivering projects that could help us address the big challenges facing NHS Scotland?

This role will provide the post holder with a unique opportunity to support NHS Green Healthcare Scotland (the expansion of the National Green Theatres Programme) to identify and implement impactful initiatives and actions that will reduce carbon emissions and embed environmental sustainability within NHS Scotland.

The post holder will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the team, including assisting in the delivery of advice and guidance on appropriate programme and project management methodologies. The post-holder will be required to work autonomously in the role, escalating any issues that may arise to the appropriate programme lead.

Effective interpersonal skills are a key requirement as the post-holder will be expected to establish and maintain good working relationships within the programme and externally with key stakeholders.

You must be highly organised with a demonstrable track record of success in an administrative project role.

If you like a challenge and are committed to delivering complex projects in partnership with a wide variety of stakeholders, then we want to hear from you.

For informal discussions, please contact: Steven Chawk, Programme Manager, NHS Green Healthcare Scotland. steven.chawk2@nhs.scot
