This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative team in Cardiff and Vale UHB. We are seeking a Project Manager to join our Shaping Change Team, to help us support the development and implementation of key projects that will deliver services that provide optimum patient care, ensure efficient use of resources and which promote a culture that is progressive and inclusive.
Working with a range of partners across the Health Board, the successful post holder will have a key role in facilitating, supporting and increasing the organisation’s project maturity through robust project management processes, focused both on structures that simplify change, and supporting the people who enable it.
To be successful in this role we are looking for candidates with a proven track record of implementing change and/or transformation projects within complex organisations and systems, in-depth knowledge of project management tools and techniques, and an appropriate educational background.

Working directly to the Head of Change Support and supporting the Assistant Director of Improvement, Implementation & Spread, providing wide-ranging specialist project management advice and delivery across key Cardiff and Vale priorities.
To ensure top performance and delivery of programme aims, the post holder will be required to provide project mentoring, facilitate workshops, drive best practice, support the design and shape of projects, help develop project management capability across the organisation and project manage key projects. The post holder will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
