The Haematology Directorate is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and motivated Project Manager to join the Haemoglobinopathy Multidisciplinary Team to support the planning and implementation of a new community service for Haemoglobinopathy patients at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the team to provide an innovative service for our patients and provides a unique opportunity to help shape the delivery of our community services. This project is funded by NHS England and is time bound in line with funding arrangements.
As the Project Manager for the community pilot, you will be responsible for providing leadership and management of the pilot, providing expert project management skills and presenting evidence in a cohesive way to advise decision makers throughout the project lifecycle.
As Project Manager for the Haemoglobinopathy pilot you will plan, coordinate and facilitate implementation with the multidisciplinary team ensuring the project has clearly defined schedules and key milestones making project progress visible.
You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining governance arrangements for the delivery of the project as well as developing and maintaining excellent stakeholder relationships, ensuring effective communication and engagement across clinical and operational groups.
You will be a sound communicator and negotiator to ensure barriers to understanding and success are overcome. You will also have the opportunity to represent the multidisciplinary team when discussing the project with internal senior management and NHSE stakeholders.
