Job overview

The post holder will lead the planning, coordination and delivery of women’s health patient engagement events and group consultations across North East London (NEL). This is a fixed-term, project-based role working 26 hours per week, which will include some evening working during the week in line with service delivery requirements. The role builds on a successful model established in City & Hackney and supports its expansion across the wider NEL system.

The role will provide dedicated project management, operational oversight and facilitation to ensure high-quality delivery, effective stakeholder engagement and robust evaluation. The post holder will work closely with primary care, community organisations, clinical teams, and system partners to co-produce and deliver culturally responsive engagement activities that address inequalities in women’s health outcomes.

Main duties of the job

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of a programme of women’s health engagement events and group consultations across NEL
  • Coordinate with GP practices, PCNs, community partners and clinical teams to identify priorities, populations and delivery approaches
  • Facilitate virtual and face-to-face engagement events and group consultations, ensuring a positive patient experience
  • Oversee operational arrangements including scheduling, venues, clinician participation, patient registration and pathways
  • Lead evaluation of activity, capturing outcomes, feedback and learning to inform service improvement and sustainability
  • Maintain effective governance, reporting and financial oversight in line with Trust and ICB requirements
