Job overview

We are looking to recruit an Administration and Programme Manager to join the Vasculitis and Lupus Research Group. You will lead the development of the Vasculitis and Lupus Research and Training centre. This will include, but is not limited to, organising courses for doctors and Nurses, financial management and conference planning.

Main duties of the job

  • Project management for practical teaching and training courses for Doctors and Specialist nurses in Addenbrooke’s Hospital run by the Centre.
  • Project management for large regional, national and international educational courses run by the Centre.
  • Oversee the finances for the Centre.
  • To create and implement targeted marketing campaigns designed to raise the profile of the Centre and gain new business in specific areas.
  • To take full management responsibility for individual projects.
  • To actively participate in effective business case
  • development on time and to budget.
  • To lead on the development of a new website for the Centre.
  • Line management of a Band 4 Administrative Assistant.
