Main duties of the job

Applicants must have wide-ranging skills across most areas of Radiotherapy Physics: treatment planning and treatment planning systems; equipment quality control and commissioning; dosimetry; imaging; quality assurance systems and IT systems. The post-holder will be allocated projects according to their skills and current departmental priorities, some of which may involve external R&D collaboration with the University of Oxford and other partners.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

This role takes a supported lead with managing and undertaking the physics service for the radiotherapy satellite at Great Western Hospital (GWH), Swindon. The post holder will need to have wide ranging skills across most areas within Radiotherapy Physics: treatment planning and treatment planning systems; equipment quality control; dosimetry; imaging; quality assurance systems; information systems.
