Job overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a 43-month fixed term 0.6 wte Band 8b Principal Clinical Psychologist post on the Mildred Creak Inpatient Unit (MCU) within the Psychological and Mental Health Services (PAMHS). This role is to provide cover whilst the current post-holder is seconded into a NIHR funded research fellowship post.  The MCU has 8 inpatient and 2 day-patient beds available for children and young people aged between 7-13 years of age presenting with severe and complex mental health difficulties. The postholder will join a multidisciplinary team which includes child and adolescent psychiatrists, child & adolescent psychotherapists, systemic psychotherapists and mental health nurses.
