
The Sunderland Community Children and Young Peoples Service (SCCYPMHS) is delighted to invite applications from exceptional Primary Mental Health Workers who are passionate about supporting children, young people, and their families. This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving and forward thinking service. We are seeking individuals who can deliver high quality mental health interventions while also supporting the development of skills and knowledge in universal childrens practitioners around child and adolescent mental health.
Our SCCYPMHS is a well established, innovative, and creative Getting Help mental health service, providing targeted support for children and young people. Successful candidates will join a skilled multidisciplinary team, contributing to the development and delivery of early intervention approaches that identify mental health difficulties at the earliest opportunity. The service aims to promote resilience and positive mental health outcomes and is made up of both generic and specialist practitioners.
Applicants should have strong knowledge and experience in childrens mental health, alongside leadership capabilities. You will be confident working autonomously as a practitioner, while also collaborating effectively with colleagues across a wide range of professions and organisations.
