We're looking for someone who is committed to developing and enhancing training in Diagnostic Imaging across our Trust.
Main duties of the job
What we’re looking for:
- A qualified, HCPC-registered Radiographer with a proven background in clinical practice
- Experience in mentoring, teaching, or supervising within a healthcare setting, with a focus on Plain Film.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support and inspire learners
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of clinical practice and patient car
Your role:
- Mentoring and educating: You will provide clinical training and educational support to the Radiography workforce by supporting trainees.
- Lead and enhance: You will lead and enhance delivery of clinical education, and be responsible for organising all educational and training requirements necessary for all staff
- Organise: You will organise student rotas to enable a robust and relevant clinical placement appropriate to the stage of learning
- Supervise and structure: You will structure and supervise practice-based learning, bringing together academic theory, workplace practice to help trainees to develop skills towards assessment and qualification
- Guidance: you will signpost staff to educational and development opportunities and act as advocate ensuring access to these opportunities
