Job overview

The LED Administrator will work closely with the Postgraduate Medical Education (PGME) team within the Student, Trainee and Placement Support Department They will be responsible for the organisation and delivery of teaching programmes and training events for locally employed doctors, as well as international medical graduates working within the Trust. They will work closely with the Associate Director of Medical Education to ensure all training requirements are met.

The post holder must possess excellent organisational ability, be flexible and able to exhibit initiative in resolving problems when they arise, along with a consistently highly professional approach.

Main duties of the job

The LED Administrator will be required to support with arrangements for Induction events, including setting up online sessions, booking Tutors, equipment, rooms etc. as required. The role will be a vital part of the team and will be required to support events and provide administrative assistance to the team. They will work closely with the PGME team, along with other Departments within the Workforce and Education Directorate.
