Applications are invited for this fixed term 12 month appointment suitable for Dermatologists seeking Specialist Training in Skin Cancer commencing 5 August 2026. This post provides an exciting opportunity for a committed enthusiastic individual wishing to gain subspecialty training in Dermato-Oncology. Supported by a team of consultant colleagues with a dedicated multi-disciplinary team, you will contribute to the provision of comprehensive management of melanoma, cutaneous lymphoma, GvHD and non-melanoma skin cancers at Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospital Trust as follows:
- To be an active member of the multidisciplinary skin tumour team delivering care to patients with skin cancer as part of the extensive tertiary referral service
- Outpatient clinics (melanoma, lymphoma, Graft versus host disease, skin cancer screening and general dermatology)
- To contribute to the required medical support for patient requiring complex therapies (including photopheresis and chemotherapy)
- To provide continuing clinical responsibility for the patients in your charge
Main duties of the job
The post will be based cross site at Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Campus’. However, it is a requirement of your employment that you be prepared to work at any additional or different location owned or served by the trust, either on an on-going or temporary basis according to the demands of the service.

Duties and responsibilities:
Clinical:
The postholder will, together with colleagues, contribute to the provision of dermatology and cutaneous Lymphoma services to the Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospital Trust as follows:

The postholder is expected to contribute to the extensive teaching and training programme at St John’s.
Specifically, this post encompasses
- Responsibility shared with colleagues for the educational supervision of trainees attending the department.
- Support for the postgraduate MSc course
Research
- Supervising and contributing to the provision of required medical support for patients undergoing clinical trials in the skin cancer clinical trials platform
- Promoting clinical research activities to other members of clinical
- staff within St. John’s thereby enhancing the delivery of research program
- To support the extensive clinical research programme at St John’s including
