Registered AHP Degree Apprentice - Podiatry Apprentice - Band 4
Central London Community Healthcare Academy have partnered with the University of East London to deliver this exciting four-year apprenticeship program. Successful completion leads to Podiatry registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

This Podiatry apprenticeship is designed to give talented people an opportunity to gain a nationally recognised qualification whilst completing on-the-job training with our highly skilled clinicians. This is a developmental role over four years where you will work towards successful completion of a BSc Degree in Podiatry and be able to register with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
To be considered for this post applicants will need to demonstrate a minimum of one year’s experience within a clinical healthcare setting.

This is a shared arrangement between CLCH and UEL, with the academic part of the training provided by the University you will undertake modules as detailed below: • Professional Practice and Mental Health • Anatomy and Physiology • Podiatric Practice, Pathology and Pharmacology • Musculoskeletal (MSK) Assessment and Management • Clinical Reasoning and Research Methods
Key Areas of Practice for Podiatry Apprentices: • Patients with problems related to endocrine and rheumatological function • Patients with problems related to musculoskeletal function and sporting activities • Patients with problems related to neurological function • Patients with problems related to dermatological function • Patients requiring nail surgery • Patients located in a variety of healthcare and community settings
