To work in the outpatient setting of patients referred to the plastic surgery department. Although this is primarily related to cancer and trauma it may also include patients undergoing other plastic and reconstructive procedures. In this role the nurse will responsible for the management and co-ordination of smooth running clinics.
The day to day running of Consultant and Nurse led plastic outpatient clinics. Resource management in terms of supplies; equipment and ordering, in the department and fire warden.

Applicants will not be considered for the position unless they have had at least 6 months post registration experience in an acute surgical environment in a UK hospital.
To provide continuity in the day to day running of plastic surgery outpatient clinics.
To support staff and patients working in those clinics.
To provide care for patients in a variety of clinical environments where patients having plastic surgery are managed, including wound care.
To be responsible for the management of supplies.
To be Fire Warden for the Department when working in clinic.
To support clinics for ankle brachial pressure index assessment.
