Physiotherapy Specialist - Neuro team

We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, motivated and highly skilled MSK Physiotherapist to join our Neuro Physiotherapy service at Wirral Community Foundation NHS Trust.

You must possess a physiotherapy degree or recognised equivalent qualification and be registered with the Health & Care Professions Council.  You must also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with GP’s and other healthcare professionals. Good IT skills are essential as the role requires working across a range of clinical systems.

Main duties of the job

The successful applicant will have at least 6 months experience of assessing and treating a wide range of complex neurological conditions and be confident  to work autonomously

The Neuro Physiotherapy service is based at Victoria Central Health Centre and enjoys close links with our local acute trust.  The successful applicant will be expected to work closely with our partners in the acute trust as well as other stakeholders to promote the service and improve outcomes for the patients we serve.

The Wirral peninsula sits between Merseyside and North Wales and has excellent transport links to North Wales, Liverpool, Manchester, as well as the historic city of Chester.
