An exciting opportunity has arisen for an innovative Physiotherapist to join our small skilled team based in the North locality of Perthshire, based out of Blairgowrie Community Hospital. The main caseload will be within the Blairgowrie area, with cross cover required across the whole of the North Locality.
Applicants should have relevant experience working as a Physiotherapist within physical rehabilitation, possess good communication and decision-making skills, and have a positive approach to multidisciplinary team working as well as being able to work autonomously.
The team are looking for a skilled Physiotherapist who is keen to be part of a forward-looking integrated service, who will promote the Physiotherapy contribution, providing high quality assessment and rehabilitation, as well as supporting development of the service. The team cover all clinical areas on a needs led, priority basis. As a member of the team, you will be involved in prevention of admission, supporting a home first approach and delivering an enhanced level of care at home.
You should have relevant experience which supports work in an in-patient setting as well as domiciliary visits and neuro/rehab outpatients. Previous supervision of Health Care Support Workers and Students is advantageous. You should be passionate about providing excellent person-centred treatment and care, and value honest and open communication. You will be fully supported by senior staff, with supervision, appraisal and regular CPD opportunities.
