Are you a band 7 or an experienced band 6 looking for an exciting new opportunity? We are seeking a skilled, motivated and dynamic Specialist Stroke Physiotherapist with a passion for high quality care and service development. This is for a 12-month fixed term contract within the Stroke Hub Team. The team provides specialist Stroke therapy in patient’s own home. We continuously prioritise our caseload to be responsive to the changing daily needs of our service users, communicating closely with other service providers to avoid admission, where it is safe to do so, and providing onward referrals to other community services including health and social care. You will be part of a friendly and approachable team who work well together, and you will be well supported by your senior management team.

Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, they will manage a caseload of patients with complex needs, using evidence based practise, the principles of physiotherapy practise and patient centred practise, to ensure a high quality service to all those referred to the teams. They are required to have a role in the leadership of junior staff and support assistants, through supervision, training and appraisal.
