Join our superb team of volunteers!

Come and assist our phlebotomy team at the Newmarket Road Park and Ride site in Cambridge where we have a drive through phlebotomy service. We are looking for volunteers to help us with the following;

  • Provide a marshall service guiding/directing cars into orderly queues awaiting procedure
  • Ensure there is no blocking of exits/ entrances
  • Safe maintenance of the movement of cars on site
  • Deal sensitively with those people who may be tense or anxious
  • Stand in allocated areas
  • Adhere to data protection and confidentiality guidance

Main duties of the job

We know just how much our wonderful volunteers can improve a patient’s experience here at Addenbrooke's or the Rosie hospitals.

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals who have a caring attitude and a commitment to supporting the Trust’s Values, Together - Safe, Kind, Excellent.
