We are looking for candidates who have experience and are confident in venepuncture and cannulation, however, we will consider those with no previous experience in phlebotomy and place on band 2 until all band 3 training and competencies are achieved.
The successful applicant would be caring and have excellent communication skills. Previous experience of venepuncture would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be given. Different working patterns would be considered but the shift pattern is 3 days between Monday - Friday from 07:30-15:30 in addition to 07:30-11:30 on Saturday and Sunday (1 weekend in a 4 week period).
