We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic pharmacy support worker with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to join our rotational team based at Raigmore Hospital.
The post holder will participate in varied rotations as part of our clinical, distribution, dispensary and quality assurance pharmacy teams providing a range of dispensing duties, medicines management & supply and quality assurance tasks.
You will need to be flexible, organised, work well within a team and have a positive, ‘can do’ attitude. You will be used to working in a busy challenging environment, be adaptable and willing to learn new skills
Previous pharmacy experience is essential and you must have SVQ in Pharmacy Services at SCQF Level 6 (Full award) or equivalent along with a minimum of three National 4 qualifications in English, Maths and a Science Subject.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support workers in Scotland and to comply with the code of conduct throughout your employment.
The department has an excellent team of friendly Pharmacy staff committed to service modernisation and to developing the role of pharmacy support staff. We encourage our team to undertake further training and aim to support this as much as possible.
Hours of work are: 32.4 hours per week, plus participation in weekend working and public holiday rotas.
