Job overview

We are looking for a committed and hardworking Pharmacy aseptic compounding assistant to work in our aseptic unit. Do you want to be part of a fantastic team making a real difference to people’s lives? Do you have a good working knowledge of aseptic services or are you willing to learn.

Our busy units make chemotherapy and other aseptic products to support patients across North West London and beyond. Through our support for numerous clinical trials, we also are at the cutting edge of developing treatments for the future.

In conjunction with our other team members you will ensure that the aseptic service provided to chemotherapy and Clinical Trial patients across the trust is to a high standard.  This will include compounding of chemotherapy and Clinical Trials in isolators and/or Laminar Air Flow cabinets.

The post is cross site and will be based at Hammersmith or Charing Cross site and will require the post holder to organise and participate in the preparation of chemotherapy, clinical trials and parenteral nutrition for adults.

If you share our high standards and positive attitude, we’d love to hear from you. We offer a fantastic NHS pay and benefits package, including inner London weighting and 27 days annual leave on start. We offer the chance to be part of a close team working in a friendly department in a prestigious hospital. On joining you will be offered a comprehensive induction programme and further opportunities to develop your career in the aseptics team.
