This is a role within our Womens department Quality & Governance team based in Gledhow Wing at St James Hospital. We are looking for someone who is motivated, organised and enthusiastic about contributing to improving care for birthing families. The postholder will project manage governance related processes, in addition to providing support in relation to incident and risk management, patient experience and clinical effectiveness including policy and procedure management. The post holder will also be responsible for collating a number of data sources in relation to governance and patient safety to include on dashboard style reports for presentation at Quality Assurance Meetings.

What you will bring to the role
The chosen candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to work on their own initiative. They will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft office software and the ability to work to deadlines. An understanding of governance processes is an advantage but not essential and training will be provided in post.
